Biographical Sketch:

Jingui Ma is a tenure-track associate professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Physics and Astronomy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is the recipient of National Natural Science Foundation of China for Outstanding Young Scholars (2021). He received his Bachelor from Shandong University in 2009 and his PhD from Fudan University in 2014. After graduation, he joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a postdoctoral research fellow from 2014 to 2016, a tenure-track assistant professor from 2016 to 2021, and a tenure-track associate professor from 2022 to now. His studies focus on ultrafast nonlinear optics, ultrashort ultraintense laser and mid-infrared ultrafast laser. He has published over 60 research papers, held 15 authorized patents, and won (ranked 2nd) the First-prize Award for Technological Invention issued by Ministry of Education of China. He is a Young Editor of the journal Ultrafast Science.
