2007年兰州大学国家理科基础科学研究和教学人才培养基地本科，2009年德克萨斯农工大学科默斯分校硕士，2015年德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校博士。先后在德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校和苏黎世大学从事博士后研究。他曾参与了费米实验室的长基线中微子振荡实验MINOS、MINOS+和NOvA，以及在Ge-76中搜寻无中微子双贝塔衰变的GERDA和LEGEND实验。2021年加入上海交通大学，并入选国家及上海市人才项目。目前的研究兴趣包括中微子质量顺序的测量、无中微子双贝塔衰变的搜寻、新型粒子探测器的研发等。
