秦明普,2008 年毕业于北京航空航天大学物理系。2013 年在中国科学院物理研究所获得理学博士学位。之后在美国威廉玛丽学院从事博士后工作,2014 年至2018年同时加入Simons基金会多电子问题合作组(https://www.simonsfoundation.org/mathematics-physical-sciences/many-elec...),为合作科学家。2019 年 1 月加入上海交通大学任长聘教轨副教授,博士生导师。入选2020年上海市高层次人才计划。主要研究凝聚态物理中的强关联多体问题(高温超导,自旋液体等)。兴趣在发展和改进强关联多体数值方法,包括密度矩阵重整化群,辅助场量子蒙特卡洛,张量网络态等方法。在费米子负符号问题的研究中做出了一些重要工作。提出了自洽地优化限制路径蒙特卡洛中试探波函数的方法,减小了系统误差,使得限制路径蒙特卡洛方法变得更加可靠。在二维 Hubbard 模型基态性质的求解上做出了一系列重要工作。与合作者确认了掺杂下二维 Hubbard 模型基态中的条纹相,对于理解高温超导的微观机制有重要意义。最近对于量子计算与多体物理的结合比较感兴趣。在 Science, Phys. Rev. Lett, Phys. Rev. X和Annual Review of Condensed Matter Physics等杂志发表文章三十余篇。2020年5月起担任New Journal of Physics杂志Editorial Board member。
