金贤敏,教授,博士生导师,“全国百篇优秀博士论文”、“中国科学院百篇优秀博士论文”、曙光学者、上海青年科技英才、上海科技启明星获得者,区域光纤通信网与新型光通信系统国家重点实验室学术带头人。现任上海交大集成量子信息技术研究中心主任。

2003年起师从潘建伟教授,获中国科学技术大学博士学位。2010年起赴英国牛津大学物理系做博士后,合作导师为牛津大学副校长,英国皇家科学院院士,量子光学和超快光物理专家Ian Walmsley教授。期间在光存储和光子芯片方面取得了一系列有重要影响力的研究成果。作为骨干,参与了英国工程和物理科学研究基金项目(EPSRC)和美国空军科学研究基金项目(AFOSR)。2012年同时获得欧盟授予的“玛丽居里学者”(Marie Curie Fellow)和牛津大学“沃弗森学院学者”(Wolfson College Fellow),并获资助依托牛津大学独立开展光存储和量子网络的实验研究。2015年获达沃斯世界经济论坛授予的青年科学家奖。2014年11 月开始在上海交大组建光子集成与量子信息实验室。2019年7月破格升为长聘正教授。

金贤敏长期致力于以光量子集成芯片的设计和制备,以及量子计算、量子通信和量子存储的芯片化集成化的研究和研发。已发表论文60余篇,包括Science 2篇,Science Advances 3篇,Nature Photonics 6篇,Nature Physics 1篇,Nature Communications 3篇,PRL 12篇,National Science Review 2篇,Advanced Materials 1篇,NPJ Quantum Information 1篇,OPTICA 2篇,SCI引用2000多次,获得国家发明专利5项。担任Photonics Research(OSA)副主编,IET Quantum Communication(IET)副主编,PhotoniX(Springer Nature)编辑和Advanced Intelligent Systems(WILEY)国际编委。

第一作者完成的16公里自由空间量子隐形传态工作以封面文章发表在Nature子刊《自然-光子学》上,并入选两院院士和科技部评选的2010 年中国十大科技进展;2017年带领研究团队实现了国际上首个海水量子通信实验,实验上验证水下及空海一体量子通信的可行性;2018年制备出了世界最大规模三维集成光量子计算集成芯片,并演示了真正空间二维量子行走,发表在Science子刊《科学-进展》上,并被评为2018年十大光学产业技术;同年,实现了基于机器学习的量子态分类器;制备出了首个轨道角动量波导光子芯片;基于三维光子集成芯片实现了快速到达量子加速算法,发表在Nature 子刊《自然-光子学》上,并入选2018 年中国光学十大进展;2020年实现了一种结合了集成芯片、光子概念和非冯诺依曼计算架构的可扩展的光子计算机,提供了“量子霸权”之外超越经典电子计算机算力的新思路,发表在Science子刊《科学-进展》上;同年,提出并实验演示了一种混合架构的可在室温下运行的宽带存储量子网络,可以按需制造和存储量子态,并且能够在时域上对单个或多个光子进行组合、分离、交换和分割等操作,同时量子性得到很好保持,发表在Science子刊《科学-进展》上。
