Xianfeng Chen, born in 1968, distinguished professor of Department of Physics and Astronomy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is the recipient of China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists in 2011, the recipient of National High-level personnel of special support program, the recipient of Ministry of science and technology innovation talents in youth and middle-aged in 2013, and the grantee of the special state allowance since 2014. Now, he serve as associate editor-in-chief of Chinese Optics Letter (CLP/OSA), associate editor of Photonics Research(SIOM/OSA), and editor board for some other journals.During the past decade, his researchers have focused on nonlinear optics, nanophotonics, quantum optics, laser physics and technology, etc. Some results have been achieved in basis theory of optical physics and its applications for national needs. In the past years, over 200 journal papers have been published in leading international refereed journals, such as Nature Photonics, Physics Review Letters, Optics Letters and so on. These papers have been cited over 2800 times, and H-index is 26. Professor Xianfeng Chen Served as co-organizer, conference chair, section chair, committee members for more than 20 times. Since 2012, He gave invited talks in national and international conferences for 30 times. In 2010, Prof. Xianfeng Chen won the C.N. Yang Award from AAPPS for the contribution to quasi-phase-matching nonlinear optics.
